Yesterday we all went 4 wheeling near AOL here in Sterling/Ashburn VA and were having a good time till we got near RT 606. We all had to jump on the road right in front of the USPS Building and we all decided to get on it to have a little fun getting up to the next spot where we turn in to get on another path. This time did not work out as well. We all were coming up to the turn when my dads throttle stuck open and only thing he could do was lock the brakes up and try to stop it. Pretty much what happened was after the brakes locked up the 4 wheeler went side ways and then started flipping. My dad was thrown a good few feet where he landed and rolled a few good times along with the 4 wheeler flipping and hitting him. After the ambulance came they wanted to air vac him to the nearest hospital but they could not because the helicopter was in route to another scene at the same time. The Ambulance rushed my dad to the hospital where later that night after the x Rays and him on a breathing machine they told me and my friends that he broke 3 ribs, has a collapsed lung and a broken caller bone (how ever you spell it). That all went down yesterday. Today I went and saw him and the DR now feels that he is getting ammonia and they are treating him the best that they can. They went from saying he would be released today to now they don't know possibly all week. Please wish my dad the best of wishes if ya can.
